If you are a member of a private health fund in Australia, you could be eligible for an optical rebate for the goods you purchase on the ocoeyesafety.com.au website.
Whether you are eligible and the amount you can claim back is dependant on the type and level of cover that your private health insurance plan stipulates.
Check with your health insurer on how much you can claim for the specific product you are after.
How do you receive your rebate? Each optical product that is rebateable has a ‘health fund item code’.
For example, an optical frame has the item code 110. Alternatively, single vision lenses have the item code 212.
In addition, some health funds give rebates for add-ons such as antireflective coating.
We make claiming your rebate easy by breaking down your purchase into individual items and their respective item codes. This can be found on the receipt that will accompany your delivered goods.
